The Baritone Tricone Brass comes in the nickel-plated brass body Style 1 version with a mahogany neck and slotted headstock and an ivoroid bound ebony fretboard.
It is also available with a steel Polychrome body with maple neck, solid peghead, black headstock overlay and bound rosewood fretboard.
Amplifying the rich, low tone is the extended scale length of 27" from nut to saddle, along with fatter strings (.016-.064), and an easier reach?with the neck joining the body at the 13th fret on both of these baritone models.

Our Style 1 Tricone is patterned after that original with its functional Art Deco industrial design.
It is made of brass with bright nickel plating. The mahogany neck has an ivoroid bound ebony fretboard.
The slotted headstock has a red National decal and three-on-a-plate vintage-style tuners.
The Spanish-style neck has an adjustable truss rod a definite advantage over the original !

Not only do we have the Style 1 with its bright, mirror-like finish, but we have made a less blinding version that is etched on the body with the exception of the edges where the bright nickel shows through.

Shown here is the Style 1 Tricone with a standard "round" neck.
All Tricones are available as either standard neck or square neck models.
